"Steward"Ship" Wreck"
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own?

This is a “Titanic-size” ship wreck! A Steward”Ship” wreck can destroy lives! The other “Ships” may rock back and forth, but this “Ship” will capsize and turn your life upside down! You may be thinking why is Steward”Ship” included with our fleet of Relation”Ship”, Partner”Ship” and Companion”Ship”, but if you think about it . . . they all can be destroyed if Steward”Ship” is capsizing! Relation”Ships” can be torn apart! Partner”Ships” can go under! And Companion”Ships” can be thrashed into unrecoverable pieces! Money is not the root of all evil! The love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10). Trying to keep up with the “Jones” can capsize our Steward”Ships” and many times we don’t realize that the Jones’ Steward”Ship” has already wrecked!
A Steward”Ship” wreck will not only leave you capsized, but it can leave you too deep to swim without any life savings! It will leave you drowning in sorrow and unable to keep your head above water!
Yes, a Steward”Ship” wreck will destroy more than your financial credit rating! It can destroy your family! This is taken from the pamphlet that GOD gave me to put together for a men’s study group on discipline: “If you think being a faithful steward means tithing 10% of your income, you are wrong! A faithful steward understands that all we have comes from GOD. Therefore it is not a 10% devotion, but a 100% devotion of everything back to the LORD. This includes our time, talent and treasure! As the priest of the home, man has been given stewardship of the family! This is the very reason satan wants men out of the house. If we look at everything we have (including life) as a gift from GOD, we will realize that it is not ownership . . . it is a stewardship discipline.”
We cannot let our Steward”Ship” go down like the Titanic! We must stay at the helm! Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” (Hebrew 13:5-6) Be trustworthy with the things GOD has already given you, and don’t expect more if you have not been trustworthy with little! You cannot use credit to get out of debt, however, debt will destroy your credibility (you might want to write that down!)
I know it is hard, and will take a lot of work, but we should not allow ourselves to be in so much debt that we become Steward”Ship” wrecked! If you are finding it difficult to keep the “Ship” steady . . . turn it over to GOD! HE will never let your Steward”Ship” capsize . . . even in the mist of the storm and raging waters . . . HE will never leave nor forsake you! HE will do more than keep your head above water, HE will keep you dry above the crashing waves!
This Sunday purpose in your heart to turn all your “Ships” over to the CAPTAIN of the Heavenly Kingdom Fleet! In fact . . . do it now!
