2 Corinthians 4:16 (NIV)
"A Renewed Heart Everyday"
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

I love to see elderly people who still have a spirit of joy in their life! They know that they are getting older . . . we all know that we are getting older! But we are not to lose heart! We can see the world around us going crazy! We see that the end of time is drawing near, but we are not to lose heart! In fact, we are to have a renewed heart everyday! Day by Day believe that, "This is the day that the LORD has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!"

You don't have to be elderly to have a spirit of joy, but I do love the fact that both my grandparents have a heart full of joy! They move slow, but I thank God that they are in their right mind and still enjoy each other after 50 yrs.
