Working For Each Other - Hebrews 6:10 (NKJV)

Scripture of the Day
Hebrews 6:10 (NKJV)
“Working For Each Other”

For GOD is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward HIS name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

--------------------------------------------------------

I will always say this, because I have lived it!  Whenever you feel like you are at your lowest . . . serve (work for) others in the LORD!  You will be surprised at what other saints are going through . . . without complaining!  There have been times when I thought GOD had forgotten about me, and the Spirit would tell me to go serve others.  Someone who seems to be worse off than me would give their testimony and end it with something like, “But don’t feel sorry for me, because the LORD is on my side!”  When you can see the faith that they have through it all . . . it is an awesome encouragement! That is when my heart sings out "How Great Is Our GOD!"  Now I find myself excited to serve (work) for others!  Each time the Spirit tells me to put myself out there for others, I end up being blessed by those very folks!!

Let us work, serve, and pray for each other!  Not because we can, but because we love!!!!!

Your Fellow Servant In CHRIST JESUS!

Your message is a confirmation of how I feel when I'm "down in the dumps." When I immediately starting help someone else, I feel real good about myself, and that I have accomplished a mission for God. I try very hard not to complain or have a pity party especially when there are others who are worse off than me. Helping others is rewarding and it's what God wants us to do.

To GOD Be The Glory! If more Christians would understand this, then they could receive and truly appreciate what JESUS did for us!

JESUS did not come down from the right hand of the FATHER to serve HIMSELF! HE came to serve the children of GOD! HE came to give . . . not receive! Even to the cross HE gave and for - gave (that's a sermon). HE got up from the grave so that we could receive!

Thank You for your daily encouragement!

This is so true! What is even better is when God allows you to see the positive outcome(fruit) in the people's lives you have served. For me... One couple reconciled and the other couple still living together and trying to make it work! We just have to be careful not to allow the enemy to come in and try to distract us from the joy by saying, "Look at your situation. It hasn't changed." I dialect with the Father at that point and say, " Father, you said in Your Word that Love never fails. I believe You because You are not a God that You will lie."

Glory To GOD for your commitment to serve, despite your own situation! Just know that GOD Loves your serving heart and you are already being blessed in the mist of it all!

Thank you for sharing

Thanks for that encouragement...I needed that one...as the saints of God, we all are going through something...as the evil forces are constantly seeking after those whom he may devour.

Man of God, & brother in Christ, continue doing what you do...a very good work indeed.

If only the Church would embrace the importance of "Working For Each Other!"
Being a child of God is not so much about "doing Church" but, more about "being that Church!” There's often too much focus on the things of church organization & the many traditions & not enough LOVE! We get too caught up in the “doing” verses the “being!”

If the focus is not LOVE towards each other, then the Church is without life--it's actually dead in the faith! I don't care how you package the many different church programs...but without more focus on the real lives of the people...genuine LOVE must come first...this is the only way to meet the needs people. This must be the primary focus from the pulpits of our Churches...you can preach to the cows come home about the Biblical Laws, but without LOVE first...who will listen--only when they recognized your love have you truly ministered to the saints.

All Honor and Praise Unto Our Lord & May He Continue In His Blessings Upon You!

Praise GOD from whom all blessings flow! The church is the saints. Therefore, if the church is to serve, it must be the saints that serve. I agree with you . . . a building or organizational structure is not going to preach, teach, and share the Word . . . it takes the serving saints with love in their hearts! Without love, there is no WORD going out . . . only noise!
